Rs : 10000 cr clash : DHANUSH VS NAYANTARA

Dhanush has filed Rs 10 crore defamation suit against Nayanthara for allegedly using footage from a film produced by him. This lawsuit has been filed over the use of a 3-second video clip from their 2015 film, ' Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' in Nayanthara's upcoming Netflix documentary, 'Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale'. This documentary delves into the personal life of Tamil actress Nayanthara , exploring her personal journey and mainly focusing on her love story with Vignesh Shivan. This documentary showcases , that how their romance blossomed into a successful marriage. As , Nayanthara kept her relationship private during her courtship , fans eagerly awaited to know about their romantic love story . So this, documentary is completely based on real- life love story of Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan.


Notably, Nayanthara and Vignesh met for the first time in the movie set which was produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Flims. So , their documentary features a 3 - second BTS clip from the same movie set. When Dhanush noticed that video clip has been taken from the movie set, he filed a case, seeking compensation for its unauthorized use. Nayanthara expressed her frustration in a 3-page open letter, responding to Dhanush by calling his demands 'unreasonable' and 'vindictive'. Her letter sparked a storm on social - media , with thousands of fans sharing and debating its content within hours. She argued that, demanding ₹10 crore for a 3 second video clip, showcased Dhanush's petty mentality. It was just a behind the scene video ( BTS), and not even has any connection with the original movie, even it was recorded on their personal phone and already publicly available on social media. In an open letter, she claimed that Dhanush had repeatedly ignored their request over two years for permission, prompting them to release the documentary online last week. 
Nayathara alleged that Dhanush' s action were driven by personal animosity towards her and her husband Vignesh Shivan Flim Director, Vignesh Shivan has supported his wife Nayanthara by posting an old video of Dhanush on social media, where he speaks about positivity and the importance of life without hate. This video clip has been taken from the audio launch of the 2017 film ' Sakka Podu Podu Raja'.Through this video Vignesh indirectly hints that Dhanush himself harbours negativity. Nayanthara also wrote on her Instagram account, that Dhanush wears a mask in public. He preaches one thing in front of the audience or fans whereas he is something else entirely. Addressing Dhanush, Nayanthara stated , ' As an ordinary girl like me, who had struggled hard to achieve success, realised that in the cinema industry,We must struggle daily for survival'.

Both Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan revealed that due to copyright restriction( which was unreasonable) they had to remove several scenes from the documentary series that added flavour and realism to the series. They hope that, audience will still love the series despite of all these changes. Now, it remains to be seen whether Nayanthara and Dhanush will make settlement or their dispute will remain unresolved , and their controversy will burn fire on the South Indian film industry? Additionally, it also remains to be seen, that how this newly released documentary series, will be loved by the audience?

MBBS student was gang-raped outside her college campus

 23-year-old second-year MBBS student of a private medical college was allegedly gang-raped outside her college campus in Durgapur on October 10, 2025, late at night. She had stepped out of the campus to buy food with a friend. The victim's mother alleged that her daughter was abandoned by her friend the moment she stepped out of the college campus, and she was dragged into a nearby forest by some men, who threatened to kill her if she screamed.
