Actor Vikrant Massey had recently announced about his retirement from his acting career ,on his social media account , at the age of 37 , which has left his fans stunned. In a heartfelt message on Instagram, Massey expressed his gratitude to his fans for their support and revealed that he needs to "recalibrate and go back home". As a Husband, Father and Son . And also as an actor. He said that he wants to spend quality time with his family and prioritise his health.
As per the latest report, the actor clarified that his decision to step away from acting is not a complete retirement, but rather he was going for a long- term break to prioritised his well-being. Massey's decision to take a break from the film industries comes after delivering several breathtaking and stunning performances in films like - "12th Fail", which had been directed and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and on this movie he gained massive success for his meticulous acting skills, and his other superhit movie include, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba , Sector 36, Chhapaak , Gaslight and many others. Vikrant Massey started his acting career with daily Indian Soap Operas - Dhoom Machao Dhoom , but he gained his popularity through his role in TV show - Balika Vadhu in 2009. He also worked in many prominent webseries like Broken But Beautiful, Criminal Justice , Mirzapur etc. Additionally, according to the sources , Massey after his soulful announcement on his social media account, he was first spotted at the Balayogi Auditorium in the parliament, where he had a conversation with Prime Minister - Narendra Modi and other MPs . He was over there to attend the screening of his latest upcoming movie, ''The Sabarmati Report" , which is based on Godhara train burning incident, where Sabarmati Express train was involved. Meanwhile, at that place, when he was questioned about his Instagram post, 'The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal' , by the reporters, he seemingly ignored them and went away with his co-star Rashii khanna, portraying that he was very busy in the discussion of his upcoming film.The actor's fans and colleagues have been speculating about the reasons behind his sudden announcement, with some suspecting it might be a PR strategy. One of his fans, commented that this announcement had been made for the promotion of his upcoming movie. So, he could gain a large audience and his movie could hit the box office and once his movie becomes blockbuster he will change his statement.
In a recent interview, Massey revealed that he will return to acting when the time feels right. He said that he will meet his fans once for the last time in the year 2025 before going for a long break. As per the latest report, shooting of his 2 upcoming movies are underway , one is 'Yaar Jigri' and other one is 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakiyan' where he will be starred with actor Sanjay Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor who will make her debut to film industry through this film and this movie will be based on a Ruskin Bond short stories , 'The Eyes Have It' , and all these two movies are slated to commence in the year 2025. On the other hand , now it remains to be seen whether Vikrant Massey will stick to his statement and will take a long break, after the release of this two movies or as per the assumption of the most of his fan he will change his statement and will back to his acting career once again? May 12 - OPERATION SINDOOR was launched on 7th May by the Indian Armed Forces against Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. MBBS student was gang-raped outside her college campus

 23-year-old second-year MBBS student of a private medical college was allegedly gang-raped outside her college campus in Durgapur on October 10, 2025, late at night. She had stepped out of the campus to buy food with a friend. The victim's mother alleged that her daughter was abandoned by her friend the moment she stepped out of the college campus, and she was dragged into a nearby forest by some men, who threatened to kill her if she screamed. The gang also snatched her mobile phone and took Rs 5,000 from her. Upon being alerted, the local police rushed to the location and initiated an investigation.
